I Made a Pillow

Do you ever have one of those moments where you just have to stop what you're doing and stitch something up?  That happened to me last weekend when I saw Amanda Jean's (crazy mom quilts) couch full of pillows.  There was nothing for it - I had to make one.

Because there were other things on my to do list that day, I looked through the huge container of orphan blocks that my Grandmother gives me and picked out 8 that matched - four for each side of the pillow.

I'm very pleased with my little pillow.  I may need to make another.

Log Cabin Pillow

Date:  Feb 2011

Reason:  Dora gave everyone at LBCQ a set of one hundred squares.  I used mine to make a small log cabin top.  Much later (when trying to get stuff out of my closet) I made it into a pillow, which my older daughter immediately claimed and still uses.
